Outside Service Area Fee: $25 - $75 fee with a case by case decision.
Credit Card Processing Fees: At Posh Dog and Feline, LLC the client is charged the credit card processing fees. We also accept cash.
Cancellations: less than 24 hr cancellation is $50 per pet scheduled.
Trip Charges: $75 fee + $50 for every additional pet scheduled if we arrive at your door and your pet(s) are unavailable to be groomed.
Setup and Breakdown Charge (In-home): Any grooming done outside the "Unit" has an additional charge of $50 for setup and breakdown of equipement; for each appointment.
Termination of Service Charge: At the stylist's discretion if a pet is deemed unsafe to be groomed or handled any further during the grooming service, for the safety of the pet and or stylist, POSH DOG AND FELINE will terminate the groom and a minimum fee of $75 will be charged or a discounted charge for the services that were actually fulfilled.
Flea & Tick: If we discover your pet is covered/infested with fleas or especially ticks we must be allowed to use our flea and tick shampoo prior to continuing the groom. The reason for this policy is if we allow the ticks to remain on skin while we shave your pets coat or brush them out, any ticks that or cut and or killed via brushing or shaving or clipping will leave their embedded heads in the skin resulting in possible infection that can be dangerous and deadly to your pet. Especially if they do not seek veterinarian care. $25 additional charge for small to med size dog or cat. $50 for larger breeds.
House Aggressive Pets: Some pets may tend to be more territorial or protective of their owners, other pets and or home environment. If it's our first couple times there, having a stylist (stranger) enter their home can become a dangerous situation for the stylist, whether it's the pet that is actually receiving the groom or it could be its companion checking in on their buddy. If your pack of pets have protective/aggressive tendencies please have them confined safely somewhere else or kenneled to keep them safe as well as the stylist. This will also allow for a smoother grooming process for the pet receiving the service.
